
Restoring Care for people experiencing homelessness
Medical Respite provides medical and social support for stability and healing. We care for people who are too sick to live on the streets or in shelters but not sick enough to stay in the hospital. Patients are adults experiencing homelessness.We provide patients:

Stabilizing Care
- A safe place to stay while recuperating from illness or surgery
- Coordinating care and creating treatment plans for health stability

Medical Services
We provide patients:
- Help in managing ongoing or long-term health conditions
- Connection to primary care
- Referrals to specialty medical care
- Treatment for urgent health needs as needed

Social Services
We assist patients with linkages to social services, including:
- Mental health
- Housing applications
- Medi-Cal/Medicare enrollment
- Substance use treatment programs
