Maximiliano Trujillo

Maximiliano Trujillo, or simply Max, is a Mission District native representing District 9 in his first term on the San Francisco Youth Commission. A senior at The Bay School of San Francisco, Max co-leads Bay’s Latino/e Student Affinity Group and the school’s Student Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Council. Previously, Max has served two terms on the SFMTA’s Youth Transportation Advisory Board.

By starting District 9’s first youth council and by working with Supervisor Jackie Fielder’s office and local organizations, Max hopes to elevate the voices of SFUSD students of color, immigrant and low-income youth, and young people facing housing or food insecurity, while emphasizing their prominent stake in San Francisco policy. Born to immigrants, Max hopes to use his privilege to advance opportunities for others.

In his free time, Max loves listening to music, hanging out with friends, going on walks with family, reading, playing video games, delving into true crime documentaries, or binging legal dramas!
