For the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election, registered voters can vote or drop off their ballots at the City Hall Voting Center beginning 29 days before Election Day. 

Hours

  • Weekdays: from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except October 13 holiday)
  • The weekend before Election Day: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Election Day: from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Location

The Voting Center is on the ground floor of City Hall, Room 48.

On weekdays, you can enter through any of the building’s entryways on:

  • Grove Street (entryway is accessible)
  • Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place (Polk Street)
  • McAllister Street (entryway is accessible)
  • Van Ness Avenue (entryway is accessible)

On weekends, you can enter through the Grove Street entryway.

Accessible elevators are located on every floor.

Getting here

Accessible parking spaces are located on the corner of McAllister Street and Polk Street.

Bike parking is available on nearby sidewalks.

The nearest MUNI and BART station is the Civic Center station.
