Kelly Yun

Citizens' Committee on Community Development

Kelly Yun is a native San Franciscan and proud daughter of immigrants, whose experiences shape her lifelong commitment to equity and community empowerment. She is dedicated to advancing initiatives that address the social determinants of health and wellbeing at a systems level. Her professional leadership most recently includes serving as Chief Development Officer at the Oakland Public Education Fund and as Chief of Staff for the City of Oakland. She has also chaired the City of Berkeley’s Human Welfare Commission and served on UC Berkeley’s Chancellor’s Staff Advisory Committee.

Kelly holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She looks forward to bringing the breadth of her leadership and cross-sector experience to her hometown, contributing to the fabric of San Francisco and helping ensure that all communities share in its promise.
