Jordan Wilson

Jordan Macks Wilson was appointed to the Neighborhood Representative seat on the San Francisco Entertainment Commission by Mayor Daniel Lurie in September 2025. A fifth-generation San Franciscan, he currently serves as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Bay FC, the Bay Area's professional soccer team in the National Women’s Soccer League. Previously, he worked for the City and County of San Francisco as a Senior Advisor to the Director of the Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development, following his service as a Policy Advisor and Communications Aide in the Mayor’s Office. Before joining the Mayor’s Office in 2021, he gained experience as a Project Manager at Lighthouse Public Affairs. He began his public service journey in 2015 as a Community Safety Intern, where he worked on police-community relations with the San Francisco Police Department.

Jordan is a proud graduate of San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD)—Lakeshore, Aptos, and George Washington High School—and now serves on the Board of Directors of the GWHS Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and a former scholarship recipient of San Francisco Achievers, which supports African American students across SFUSD. After playing college baseball in Louisiana for two years, he earned his Bachelor’s in Public Policy from the University of Redlands. In 2024, Jordan earned his Master’s in Public Policy from Duke University as a Sanford Scholars Fellow, where he developed policy recommendations to expand career technical education in San Francisco high schools. Raised between the Western Addition and Mount Davidson Manor neighborhoods and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Jordan is a lifelong advocate for his city and community. Jordan is a proud and continued supporter of Bay Area sports, local theater, the arts, and all forms of entertainment.
