Jack Gibson

Jack Gibson is the Applied AI Engineer in the Office of Emerging Technologies at the City and County of San Francisco’s Department of Technology. In this role, he helps build and deploy responsible AI solutions designed to improve government systems.

Before joining the city, Jack worked as a technologist in both private sector and academic settings. Previously, he was as a Data Engineer for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jack also has experience building open-source software and researching alternative elections systems for the University of Chicago’s Data and Democracy Lab. He holds a Master of Science in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
