Intervention & Advocacy Programs for Survivors
The Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development funds gender-based violence (GBV) Programs to support intervention and advocacy services for survivors on their healing and safety journey. These programs provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive support, including crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, emotional support, and systems navigation. Advocates work alongside survivors to help them access housing, healthcare, legal support, and other essential resources while honoring their choices and autonomy. Whether someone is actively in crisis or navigating long-term recovery, these services are designed to meet survivors where they are with care, respect, and dignity.
