How to get permits for an Adult Sex Venue (ASV) business, and guidelines for running an ASV.
Permits for Adult Sex Venues:
- Contact San Francisco Planning to see if they allow Adult Sex Venues at the proposed location
- Contact the Treasurer & Tax Collector to open a Business Registration Account
- Every ASV must follow the Guidelines for Adult Sex Venues
- For a Bathhouse in an ASV you need a separate permit from the San Francisco Police Department
Permits for public bath houses
Permits are necessary for any business that is a Public Bath House. SFPD gives permits for public bath houses.
