Referral & Navigation Process

Pt must be in San Francisco Health Network medical group.

Pt is referred by Primary Care Provider to GHSF for navigation and surgery referral processing.

For in-network surgeries GHSF will refer Pt to ZSFG.

For all out-of-network surgeries GHSF will process Pre-Authorizations for surgical consult and referral.

Waitlist

During Navigation, the patient will review surgeon options and choices with the Navigator.
No waitlist, but different wait times may be reviewed based on patient surgeon choice
