FY26 CCG Submission Highlights
San Franciscans stepped up with bold, community-led ideas in the FY26 Community Challenge Grants (CCG) process. We received applications from every supervisorial district, with more than triple the submissions of our last round and over $14 million requested for neighborhood improvements.
Key numbers at a glance
- 300%+ increase in applications from the previous round
- $14M+ in total funding requests
- Submissions from all 11 supervisorial districts
How we got here
We expanded outreach and support to lower barriers and welcome new community leaders with the following:
- 6 information sessions
- 7 technical assistance workshops
- 272 total workshop attendees
- 77% of attendees had never applied to CCG
What's next
- Applications have been screened for eligibility
- Panelists are evaluating the submissions
- Notices of intent to award are anticipated to be released in December
