Ages 14 and Up

Community Youth Center's Job Fair
Eligible ages: 14-24. CYC's Job Fair will help youth meet local employers who are hiring for part-time, seasonal, and entry-level jobs. Along with talking to employers, youth can get a free professional headshot, join a resume workshop, and practice in mock interviews. They will also have access to free professional clothing and support to create or improve their LinkedIn profile. The Job Fair will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Stonestown Galleria (3251 20th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94132), from 1:00PM – 5:00PM.
Digital Literacy Trainer Program
Eligible ages: 15-24. The Digital Literacy Trainer Program is a special opportunity for youth to help the community learn how to use technology to make life easier. Through this program, youth gain leadership skills and real-life teaching practice by showing people how to do things like using Google Lens. It’s a fun way to learn, help others, and earn a reward! Most of the people getting help from the Digital Literacy Traininer program speak Chinese, so it’s really helpful if the youth can speak Chinese too. Deadline: Rolling acceptance until October 17, 2025.
Department of Elections X Y4SF Election Demonstration Event
Eligible grades: elementary to high school. Learn how to vote with the San Francisco Department of Elections! At this event, elementary, middle, and high school students will watch a short video about voting rights, then fill out a practice ballot. Students place their ballots into a real ballot scanner, just like on Election Day. At the end, students will count and share the results of their mock election. If you're interested in joining this event, please RSVP, and don't forget to bring a friend! The Election Demonstration event will take place at San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 3:30pm to 5pm.
College Track
Eligible grade: 9th. College Track is a free, comprehensive, 10-year program that supports students from underserved communities to become the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. College Track is recruiting committed, positive, and motivated ninth-grade students who are ready for the structure and support that a college-going community provides. Applications are due by October 31, 2025.
Register to Take the SAT Exam
Eligible ages: All. The SAT Exam will be administered at Lowell High School in San Francisco on the following dates: November 8, 2025, December 6, 2025, March 14, 2026, May 2, 2026, and June 6, 2026.
SEO Scholars Academic Program
Eligible grades: 9th. SEO Scholars is a free eight year academic program that helps low-income youth get to and through a four-year college. Applications are due by December 31, 2025.
Coro's Exploring Leadership Youth Program
Eligible grades: 9th, 10th or 11th graders in the 2025-26 school year. Exploring Leadership is a summer program that helps high school students learn how to be leaders in their communities. Using Coro’s training activities, Youth Fellows practice critical thinking, setting goals, and working with others to make a positive difference where they live. Each participant receives a $250 stipend upon completing the program. The priority application deadline is December 12, 2025, and the final application deadline is January 9, 2026.

Ages 16 and Up

Careers in Sales & Customer Success Workshop
Eligible ages: 16 and up. Are you interested in jobs in sales, business development, or customer success? At this Job Forum event on Zoom, you can meet managers from companies like Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Lumens Technologies. They will share tips on how to get hired, answer your questions, and give advice to help you succeed in your job search. The workshop will take place online on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Fall 2025 TLGBQ+ Career Fair
Eligible ages: 16 and up. The SF LGBT Center hosts one of the largest TLGBQ+ career fairs in the country, and they are excited to bring this event back this fall! The Career Fair will feature Bay Area employers from a range of industries who are dedicated to learning about and providing safer and more supportive workplace environments for the TLGBQ+ community, as well as opportunities for gainful employment. The Career Fair take place at the SF LGBT Center, 1800 Market Street in San Francisco, on October 17, 2025.
Careers in SF City Government Workshop
Eligible ages: 16 and up. At this Job Forum event, you can learn about career opportunities in city government, from public safety to roles at the airport, water, and transportation departments. Experts who work in government will share advice, answer your questions, and help you explore jobs you may not have thought about. The workshop will take place online on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Program
Eligible age: must be age 18 by July 15, 2026. Through the Chick-fil-A Community Scholars program, Chick-fil-A, Inc. helps pay for the education of leaders in our communities who want to continue learning, while also investing in their leadership development. Every year, up to thirteen $25,000 scholarships are awarded to students based on academic success, community service, and financial need. Applications are due by October 28, 2025.

2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)
Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to apply for financial aid for college, career school, or graduate school. For most California financial aid programs, your application must be submitted no later than March 2, 2026.
New Door Ventures Employment Program
Eligible ages: 17-24. New Door Ventures helps young people in San Francisco get on the path to good jobs and financial stability. In their six-month program, 15–20 youth join as a group of interns. They learn job skills, work together, and support each other during their internships. Applications are accepted all year.
