Additional Information
Please visit www.nationaltestingnetwork.com to register for the examination. Make sure to check the box for the San Francisco Police Department. NTN requires a small fee to take the exam. If you can't pay the fee, simply submit an NTN Fee Waiver Request Form, and provided that you qualify for assistance, the cost will be covered.
You can schedule to take the written exam virtually or at any NTN exam locations. You may skip completing the NTN PHQ (Personal History Questionnaire).
If you have problems registering or scheduling the examination, please visit NTN Customer Support. You may also email NTN at support@nationaltestingnetwork.com or call their office at 855-821-3761.
There are three components to the FrontLine National examination: a video-based human relations test, a reading ability test, and a written language ability test. Testing takes approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Please note that the NTN website provides a description of the test components and directions for scheduling a test for the San Francisco Police Department. The website offers a practice test for purchase with sample items (optional).
