CHNV Program Termination

On March 25, 2025, the Department of Homeland Security ended the humanitarian parole program launched by President Biden for people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV), and announced that individuals' parole will end on April 24, 2025. This means that CHNV parolees already in the United States are set to lose their parole on April 24, 2025, even if their document has a later expiration date.

Individuals can consult with an immigration legal services provider to see if there is something else they might qualify for.
