- Artist Led Tour: 11:00 AM -12:00 PM
- Activations through 4:00 PM
- Celebrate the completion of Arrival, Tomie Arai's large-scale glass artwork, and join the artist-led walkthrough at both the street and platform levels, alongside Ariana Martinez-Cruz's Threaded Histories, a temporary monument honoring garment workers, cultural organizers, and immigrant families, part of Shaping Legacy: San Francisco Monuments and Memorials project. The tour runs 11:00 AM -12:00 PM, with the Threaded Histories kiosk info hub, giveaways and activations throughout the afternoon until 4:00 PM.
CCC Art Center & Design Store: 667 Grant Avenue
- 11:00 AM -3:00 PM
- Meet the artists newly commissioned by SFAC for three Chinatown public art projects: Portsmouth Square, Chinatown Public Health Center, and Chinatown/Him Mark Lai Branch Library. Engage with them directly as they develop their designs and share feedback that will help inform their work. These artists were selected from the Chinatown Artist Registry, developed through a close partnership between SFAC and CCC, and for the majority, this marks their first permanent public art commission in San Francisco.
