Supervisor Mandelman's Pride Parade

This will be Supervisor Mandelman's last Pride Parade as your Supervisor! And after eight years representing District 8, I really want his pride parade contingent to represent all of the joy he has brought to our district. We’ll have a DJ on a pickup truck, neighborhood signs/clusters, and thousands of beads to hand out to viewers. Friends, family, kids (even four-legged ones 🐶) are welcome! Over these eight years, Supervisor Mandelman fought for District 8 and for San Francisco. He authored the City's Climate Emergency Declaration, passed all-electric construction legislation, held hearings on and took concrete action to address the lack of access to behavioral health treatment in SF, securing hundreds of behavioral health beds and helping deliver 150+ units of 100% affordable permanent supportive housing for LGBTQ+ seniors, created the Castro Upper Market, Glen Park, and Cole Valley Entertainment Zones, helped find a permanent home for the nation's first LGBTQ+ history museum, led a landmark preservation effort to protect dozens of historic District 8 buildings, including two historic district designations in the Mission Dolores neighborhood, and so much more. And through all of it, he showed up to nearly every block party, neighborhood meeting, and community gathering across District 8. Now I am asking you to show up for him and show how proud we are of our district!
