Portola Volunteer Garden Days at the #GreenBetween

The #GreenBetween was born of a community effort to green and beautify the neighborhood. On Caltrans land that was once blighted, the Portola Greenway continues to blossom into one of D9’s neighborhood’s most cherished shared spaces. A place where residents can walk, garden, connect, and enjoy a bit of nature and art, what makes the Greenway so special isn’t just the plants or the pathway, but the people who show up month after month to help care for it.

Consider volunteering! Whether you have a green thumb or you’re just curious to learn, every pair of hands makes a difference. Volunteers help with planting, weeding, mulching, and keeping the space beautiful and accessible for everyone in the Portola. Volunteer Garden Days: First Saturday of every month 10:00a – 1:00p, meet up at 2 Burrows Street in front of the GreenBetween gate. For more info go here.
