Evelyn Conboy

Evelyn Conboy is serving her first term as a District 7 Youth Commissioner and is excited to sit on the Civic Engagement and Education Committee. She is passionate about educational equity and school safety and looks forward to collaborating with fellow Commissioners to make tangible policy impacts. Evelyn also serves as the Legislative Affairs Officer and is eager to engage with legislation that affects San Francisco youth.
Born and raised in Mount Davidson, Evelyn is currently a high school senior at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. She began her local government and civic engagement work as an intern for District 4 Supervisor Joel Engardio, and as a campaign volunteer for Proposition K. She later served on the District 7 Youth Council, where she worked to uplift youth voices and find solutions to transit challenges and high school counseling deficiencies.
In her free time, Evelyn enjoys reading, trying new boba shops, and playing golf. At school, she leads the student newspaper Inside SI, Chinese Culture Club, Model UN, and the business club. Over the course of her term, Evelyn plans to stay closely connected with District 7 youth, advance youth-centered policies, and remain grounded in service to her community.
