Dominique Blakely (she/her/hers) serves as the Executive Management Assistant for the Department on the Status of Women, where she provides essential support to executive leadership and helps ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the department. Her responsibilities include managing day-to-day administrative functions, coordinating key initiatives, and contributing to the overall organization and success of the team.

Dominique also serves as the Commission Secretary for the Department’s Commission on the Status of Women, where she plays a central role in facilitating the Commission’s operations. As the primary liaison, she manages communications, coordinates meeting logistics, prepares agendas and minutes, and ensures that all Commission activities are well-organized and effectively executed.

Her passion for gender equity and women’s advocacy drives her commitment to supporting the work of both the department and the Commission. Her values align closely with their mission, bringing purpose and dedication to every aspect of her role.

Outside of her work at DOSW, Dominique enjoys spending time with family, traveling and exploring new hiking destinations.
