Diane Lozano

Diane Lozano is the Executive Director of Full Picture Justice (formerly known as CRI), where she leads mitigation investigations and provides strategic guidance and training to mitigation specialists and attorneys. Prior to this role, she served as the State Public Defender for Wyoming from 2007 to 2024, overseeing statewide legal defense services for indigent clients and establishing the Wyoming Guardian Ad Litem Program. With over 30 years of experience in public defense, Diane has tried and supervised numerous capital cases, ensuring just outcomes in high-stakes trials. She is also a long-standing faculty member of the Bryan R. Shechmeister Death Penalty Defense College at Santa Clara University School of Law and a frequent presenter at national defense and criminal justice conferences.
