2026 EMSA Committee Meeting Calendar
EMSAC meetings are held 4 times a year on a quarterly basis.
Subcommittees convene as follows:
Quality Improvement (QI) meetings are held 3 times a year.
STAR*, Stroke, EMS for Children, EMS Research and the Trauma Systems Advisory Committee (TSAC) meet twice a year.
*ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction / Post Arrest with Return of Spontaneous Circulation (STAR)

The Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee (EMSAC) reviews and makes recommendations for prehospital clinical policies and treatment protocols for Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. It also reviews and makes recommendations for general system management, operational policies, and disaster medical emergency management. EMSAC benefits everyone in San Francisco by improving policies, protocols, and management of our emergency medical services.
