Caroline Kinnen is a software and data engineer with experience building automated data processes and analytical tools to help organizations solve complex problems. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from University of Chicago. Before joining the City of San Francisco, Caroline worked as a consultant, where she assisted organizations looking to scale data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, and as a data analyst for KIPP Chicago Public Schools, where she partnered closely with educators to make data more accessible and actionable. She enjoys solving challenging problems, learning new technologies, and finding ways to make tangled systems more simple, useful, and enjoyable. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys her yoga practice, trying new recipes, and reading (and recommending) fiction.
