At the Department of Early Childhood, our goal is to make sure every child in San Francisco has the chance to grow, learn, and thrive. We do this by working closely with families, communities, and public partners, and by pushing for policies that support children’s health and development at every level. This policy agenda comes directly from our strategic plan and was shaped with input from parents, early educators, and the broader early childhood community.
