The Department of Early Childhood is thrilled to announce the release of our 2024 Annual Impact Report. Every year has been exciting, but this year, we are celebrating a truly remarkable milestone: a major rebound in kindergarten readiness for children entering school in San Francisco. Children are now entering kindergarten significantly better prepared to succeed since the Department of Early Childhood launched.
