For the 2025-2026 grant cycle, the San Francisco Arts Commission has awarded $10.4 million to support 151 grantees, including more than $7.5 million in grant funding awarded to 98 individual artists and 47 arts nonprofit organizations, and nearly $3 million in funding support has been awarded to support cultural centers.

FY 2026-2027 Grant Opportunities
SFAC's FY 2025-2026 grant categories are now available and listed below. All available grant funding for fiscal year FY2025-2026 from both the Cultural Equity and Arts Impact Endowments will be granted through the Arts Impact Endowment funding areas and the Artistic Legacy Award. Applicants looking for the Cultural Equity Initiatives or San Francisco Artists categories are encouraged to apply to the Arts Impact Endowment grant categories. Please email SFAC's team at sfac.grants@sfgov.org for more information.
Funding for the Arts Impact Endowment comes from the Hotel Tax Fund and is supported by both the Cultural Equity Endowment and Arts Impact Endowment line items.

To make an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) request related to these guidelines or the application process, please email sfac.grants@sfgov.org at least two weeks before the application deadline in order for us to appropriately accommodate.
No deadline extensions will be granted. In fairness to others, we cannot accept late or incomplete applications. If the applicant does not provide the complete set of information in the appropriate format by the deadline, the application may be deemed incomplete and ineligible.
