Prop E Commission Streamlining Task Force Committee
Discussion
Commissioner Andary will provide updates on the outcome of the recommendations from the October 15, 2025, Proposition E Commission Streamlining Hearing related to COSW, and the Commission may discuss next steps.

A. PRESENTATION FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (MOHCD)
Discussion
Ms. Julia Sabory, Deputy Director for the Community Development Division of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), will provide an overview of MOHCD and update on the Gender-Based Violence portfolio.

B. PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT STATUS UPDATE
Discussion
President Jones Lowrey and Vice President Ani Rivera will provide an overview and oversight of the Department Head’s performance evaluation process. They will also share an update on the California Convening of Commissions and Anniversary Celebration hosted by the California Commission on the Status of Women.
C. DOSW PRIORITIES/STRATEGIC PLANNING TIMELINE
Discussion
The Commission may discuss with the new Director the department’s strategic planning process, including key priorities and a proposed timeline for implementation including an update on the community meeting plan proposed at the September meeting.
