CCG Technical Assistance
To help applicants prepare strong proposals, Community Challenge Grants offers a series of workshops and resources focused on the application process, City requirements, and project planning.
Information Sessions
Get a general overview of the CCG Request for Proposals (RFP), including eligibility criteria, funding requirements, and the types of projects we support.
City Permits & Approvals
Many CCG-funded projects require permits or approvals from City agencies. In this workshop, City staff walk through key processes so you can build a realistic budget and timeline. Topics include permits for public art, Slow Streets murals, community gardens, green infrastructure, and Shared Spaces.
City Requirements Workshop
Understand the City’s contracting requirements before you apply. This workshop covers key topics such as Prevailing Wage, the Healthcare Security Ordinance, the Minimum Compensation Ordinance, and First Source Hiring—so you can plan ahead with confidence.
Drop-In Hours
Have technical questions about your application? Join us for in-person drop-in hours when CCG staff will be available to answer questions about the application process, but cannot offer strategic guidance or feedback on specific project ideas.
