Avelyn Liang

Avelyn Liang is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing her B.A. in Public Health and Data Science minor. She is passionate about the intersection between community health-oriented research and data analytics, focusing on major health inequities like food security and healthcare accessibility. At SFDPH, she is an intern for the MCAH Epidemiology Unit, where she is developing an sf.gov webpage that aggregates all SF nutritional health data relating to maternal, child, and adolescent populations. In the near future, she wants to pursue a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
