Ava Oram

Ava Oram is a born-and-raised San Franciscan currently serving her second term as a mayoral appointee on the San Francisco Youth Commission. She is a senior at the Bay School of San Francisco and plans to study political science or global affairs in college. On the Youth Commission, Ava has led efforts to protect Free Muni for All Youth, expand public transit access citywide, and improve the safety and accessibility of San Francisco’s bike lane network. Outside of the Commission, she enjoys co-leading her school’s Model UN club, working at Rock Band Land, spending time with her dog Bowie, and exploring San Francisco’s best restaurants with her friends and family.
