Alicia Gunness is a MPH graduate specializing in Health Policy Leadership. She holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and Biochemistry with a focus on environmental factors affecting human health. Her primary interest lies in understanding the impact of climate change on plant biodiversity and animal physiology in tropical regions. This exploration has expanded to include the influence of psychological factors, such as substance use disorders, on human health. Currently, she works with the homeless population in San Francisco, identifying mental health issues and barriers to early cancer screening
