Affordable Housing Opportunity Fund (AHOF)

Funding Information

The Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) announces a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the availability of grant funds to subsidize affordable (below market rate) rents in 100% affordable housing projects for the purpose of assisting extremely low income disabled households, families and seniors. MOHCD intends to use responses to this NOFA to fund grants for the provision of rent support as authorized in the San Francisco Charter, Section 16.132, approved by voters as Proposition G in November 2024.  Up to 20% of AHOF funds may be allocated to existing 100% affordable housing sites (“Preservation Sites”), with the remaining funds allocated to Permanent Affordable Housing sites (“Permanent Affordable Housing”).
