CAAMfest 2025
Celebrating its 43rd year in 2025, CAAMFest is the nation's leading showcase for films from Asian America and beyond. CAAMFest takes place May 8-11, 2025. As the festival returns to San Francisco Japantown, we are reminded of the enduring impact of place and memory. The combination of American and international films included in this year’s program invite us to contemplate the origins and bounds of Asian America, while shining a spotlight on movement-building within and beyond the United States.
Take the Tasty Award Tour - May 11
In partnership with Self-Help for the Elderly, OEWD will host a Chinatown Tasty Tour on May 11. This guided, 45-minute walking tour will bring participants to the first and second place winners of the three community-voted categories: pineapple buns, siu mai, and boba. Throughout six stops in Chinatown, guests can enjoy tastings at the award-winning locations while experiencing the vibrant neighborhood. Tours will take place at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. in groups of up to 20 people. Tickets are available for $15 and include a voucher redeemable for one pineapple bun, one siu mai, and one boba drink.
