The San Francisco Emergency Medical Services Agency (EMSA) is the oversight agency for all EMS in the city. On average, the EMS system receives hundreds of EMS 911 calls each day from San Francisco residents and visitors. The EMSA collects data and metrics to improve EMS operations and efficiency to better serve San Francisco.
