New QLess App Check-In for OTC Plan Review
Dear Customers,
The San Francisco Permit Center now offers an easier and more convenient way to check in for over-the-counter (OTC) plan review using the QLess mobile application.
With the Qless app, you can join some OTC plan review queues from your phone, receive real-time text updates about your place in line, and get notified when it's your turn. You can still check in at the 2nd floor Help Desk if you prefer, but the app gives you the option to wait off-site until you're notified.
You can use Qless for the following OTC plan review services: Building (structural and non-structural), Mechanical, Electrical, Planning, Fire, Public Works, Public Utilities Commission, Public Health, and Commercial Permit Support.
Services such as OTC Intake, Payments, Inspections, Operational Permits, and Technical Services still require in-person check-in at the Help Desk.
To get started:
- Scan this QR code to download the QLess app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Search for San Francisco Permit Center in the app.
- Select your OTC plan review service and follow the prompts.
