Community members can provide feedback on the Mayor's upcoming budget by Monday, April 1st at 5:00PM.

What to do

The Mayor’s Office welcomes your input on the upcoming budget. Please follow the instructions below to submit your or your organization’s priorities for this budget. For more information about the budget process, visit https://sf.gov/topics/budget. If you have questions regarding existing grants or contracts, please contact the City department that manages the grant directly.

For assistance with the submission process, please contact the Mayor's Budget Office at budget@sfgov.org.  

Submit a Request

If you or your organization have one, specific request, please fill out the form below.

Please tell us the name of your organization, your issue area, and a description of your request and provide the amount you are requesting for the upcoming budget cycle. 

Submit Multiple Requests

If you or your organization have multiple requests, please download the below template and submit your requests directly to budget@sfgov.org.

Requests that do not use this template will not be accepted.

Requests must be submitted prior to requesting a meeting. All meetings must take place before Monday, April 1st, 2024.

Next Steps

The Mayor’s Proposed May 1st Budget will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors by Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. 

The Mayor’s Proposed June 1st Budget will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors by Saturday, June 1st, 2024.
