Learn more about City permitting and approval processes with MTA, SFAC, and Public Works
Community Challenge Grants ProgramMany CCG-funded projects require approvals or permits from City departments. Attend this workshop to hear from City staff about their departments’ permitting processes so you can prepare a more accurate budget and work plan for your FY26 Community Challenge Grants RFP submission.
In part one of this series, subject matter experts will present on approvals for the following programs:
- Civic Design Review (San Francisco Arts Commission)
- Public Art Approval (San Francisco Arts Commission)
- Projects at City-owned Cultural Centers (San Francisco Arts Commission)
- Slow Streets Murals (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency)
- Street Closure Permits (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency)
- Banner Approval (San Francisco Public Works)
- Sidewalk Landscaping Permit (San Francisco Public Works)
- Tree Planting Permit (San Francisco Public Works)
