Get lead training and certification

What to do

1. Learn about the certification process of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

2. Contractors, you may already be an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified firm.  If not, learn how to become a certified firm.

3. Learn about other requirements for doing business with Fix Lead SF.

4. Follow the steps outlined by CDPH and EPA and get your certifications.  Save the receipts from the training courses, exam registrations, and certificate applications.

5. Send a copy of your receipts, your certificates, your company name, and your address to Fix Lead SF.  Be sure the receipts have the name of the vendor and the date that you paid.  You can send the documents by email to fixleadsf@sfdph.org.

6. Register to work with Fix Lead SF.
